Cocktails at the Buffalo Bar

Truer today than ever!🙏

Trip Update

It's been a great trip so far, with a lot of stories to tell when we get home.

In Winslow for the first night, we stayed at the La Posada and got to feel what it's like to be "Standin' On A Corner".
A motorcycle 'gang' with their new 95 year old friend......

We went to the 'Four Corners' where you can have your foot in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah all at the same time.
In four states at once......

We headed up into Colorado and hoped to get up to Ouray & Telluride and then head over into Utah toward Moab, but we went through rain and snow getting north of Durango to Silverton.  We changed plans and headed for Mexican Hat near the Utah/Arizona boarder.
At the top of the Moki Dugway, north of Mexican Hat

We toured Monument Valley and headed down to Page and Lake Powell thinking we'd visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  It was 32 degrees and snowing so we're down to Payson.  South of Winslow we drove through heavy snow fields at 7,000 foot elevations and could see that the snow plows were busy yesterday.

Tomorrow night will be all the way down to Tucson and much warmer weather......
